For EMD's customers, grant recommendations cover all aspects of security, prevention and/or response. The information EMD provides our customers is current at the time of its release. It is recommended that all areas of security be reviewed on a regular basis, that our customers review their security systems and strategies at least quarterly, when local or global threats change, when suspicious activity occurs at or near the facility or at like organizations, when actual events occur or when Intel changes.

A constant effort must be maintained to gather and review critical threat and event information. This requires diligent attention to open-source news, liaison work with local and federal law enforcement agencies and other similar organizations.
